- ✓ MK Logo: Clean, even engraving — not stamped or printed on fakes
- ✓ Hardware: Heavy, gold or silver tone — not light or plasticky
- ✓ Stitching: Even and tight — 8–10 stitches per inch
- ✓ Serial Number: Hot-stamped inside, not printed on a sticker
- ✓ Leather: Pebbled leather is uniform; fakes often have inconsistent pebbling
- ✓ Zipper: YKK or equivalent — smooth pull, no snagging
